
The 2024 NICE Conference & Expo will take place June 3-5, 2024 at the Sheraton Dallas in Dallas, Texas. The conference will bring together community members and thought leaders from education, government, industry, and non-profits to explore ways of developing a skilled cybersecurity workforce ready to meet the challenges of the future.

The annual NICE Conference & Expo will take place on the following dates & locations:
- June 3 – 5, 2024 in Dallas, Texas
- June 2 – 4, 2025 location TBD
- June 1 – 3, 2026 location TBD
- June 7 – 9, 2027 location TBD
- June 5 – 7, 2028, location TBD

RICET, or the Regional Initiative for Cybersecurity Education and Training, was a collaborative effort to build and strengthen a foundation in cybersecurity education, training, and workforce for the Americas. This event provides an opportunity for community members and thought leaders from education, government, industry, and non-profits to explore ways of developing a curriculum for the current and future cybersecurity workforce. This event is hosted by Florida International University and the Organization of American States in cooperation with the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education.
The RICET Conference 2023 will take place on Thursday, October 19th.
PAST EVENTS

The 2023 NICE Conference & Expo took place June 5-7, 2023 at the Westin Seattle in Seattle, Washington. The event brought together community members, thought leaders, and industry representatives to discuss “Resetting Expectations: Creating Accessible Cybersecurity Career Pathways,” which emphasized the importance of challenging those traditional norms and embracing diversity in cybersecurity

The Future of Technologies and the Impact on the Cybersecurity Workforce, a NICE Local Stakeholders Pre-Event to the NICE Conference, took place on April 3, 2023, from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. and was hosted by the City University of Seattle.

A Team Approach to Solving the National Cybersecurity Workforce Crisis, a pre-conference event to the NICE Conference at the Georgia Cyber Center, took place April 14, 2022 from 3:30 – 6:00 pm. The panel had experts from the public and private industry, large and small, to discuss the cybersecurity workforce crisis and a plan to minimize and, in time, eliminate the crisis. Panelists discussed the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed in the cybersecurity workforce today and in the future.

In light of dramatic events and emerging risks, experts discussed the role of the cybersecurity workforce and the need for a coordinated response to strengthen the supply chain.
